GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Revue Internationale de Droit et des Affaires welcomes original scholarly manuscripts falling within the aims and scope of the Journal.

Submission of a manuscript implies that:

• the manuscript constitutes original scholarly work;

• it has not previously been published in substantially the same form;

• it is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal;

• all listed authors have approved the submission;

• authorship accurately reflects intellectual contributions;

• all sources have been appropriately acknowledged;

• applicable research and publication ethics requirements have been respected.

2. LANGUAGES

The Journal accepts scholarly manuscripts in Arabic, French, and English.

Authors are responsible for ensuring appropriate academic and linguistic quality.

3. MANUSCRIPT INFORMATION AND STRUCTURE

Depending on the nature and discipline of the study, manuscripts should normally include:

• Article title

• Full name of each author

• Academic position

• Institutional affiliation

• Country

• Professional email address

• ORCID, where available

• Abstract

• Keywords

• Introduction

• Research problem or research question

• Methodology or analytical approach, where applicable

• Main sections and subsections

• Results, discussion, or legal analysis

• Conclusion

• References

4. ABSTRACT AND KEYWORDS

The abstract should provide a clear summary of the purpose of the research, its approach or methodology, principal findings or arguments, and scholarly contribution.

Authors should provide relevant keywords to facilitate indexing, discovery, and scholarly retrieval.

5. ORIGINALITY AND PLAGIARISM

Authors must properly acknowledge all ideas, text, documents, data, and materials derived from other sources.

Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, fabricated references, citation manipulation, and other serious forms of academic misconduct are prohibited.

The Journal uses Turnitin and iThenticate to assist in plagiarism detection and originality assessment.

Similarity reports are assessed contextually. A numerical similarity percentage alone does not determine whether plagiarism has occurred.

6. PEER REVIEW

Manuscripts successfully passing preliminary editorial screening may proceed to double-blind peer review.

Reviewers may assess:

• originality;

• scholarly contribution;

• relevance;

• methodology or analytical approach;

• quality of legal or scientific analysis;

• coherence and organisation;

• engagement with relevant literature;

• accuracy and relevance of sources and references;

• quality of conclusions;

• ethical compliance;

• overall contribution to the field.

7. EDITORIAL DECISIONS

Possible editorial decisions include:

• Acceptance

• Acceptance subject to revision

• Major revision and reassessment

• Rejection

Reviewer recommendations inform the editorial decision but do not automatically determine it.

The final publication decision remains the responsibility of the competent editorial authority of the Journal.

8. REVISIONS

Authors requested to revise a manuscript should carefully address editorial and reviewer comments.

Where appropriate, authors may be asked to provide:

• a revised manuscript; and

• a point-by-point response explaining how reviewer comments were addressed.

Substantially revised manuscripts may undergo further assessment.

9. AUTHORSHIP

Authorship must reflect genuine and substantial intellectual contribution.

The Journal does not accept:

• honorary authorship;

• guest authorship;

• ghost authorship;

• purchased authorship.

All co-authors must approve the manuscript submitted for publication.

Requests to add, remove, or reorder authors after submission must be appropriately justified.

10. CONFLICTS OF INTEREST AND FUNDING

Authors must disclose relevant financial, professional, academic, institutional, personal, or other conflicts of interest that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the research.

Sources of research funding should be disclosed where applicable.

11. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Artificial intelligence systems cannot be listed as authors or co-authors.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, citations, references, legal analysis, factual claims, and integrity of all submitted material.

Generative AI must not be used to fabricate references, legislation, judicial decisions, quotations, evidence, data, or research findings.

Material use of generative AI in the preparation of a manuscript should be disclosed where appropriate.

12. PUBLICATION FEES

Publication is completely free of charge.

Article Processing Charge (APC): 0

Publication Fee: 0

No payment influences editorial or peer-review decisions.

13. COPYRIGHT AND OPEN ACCESS

Published Open Access articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License in accordance with the Journal’s Open Access, Copyright and Licensing Policy.

14. AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITY

Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of their manuscripts, references, sources, evidence, and scholarly claims.

Authors must promptly inform the Journal if they discover a significant error in submitted or published work.

Submission to Revue Internationale de Droit et des Affaires constitutes acceptance of the Journal’s editorial, peer-review, ethical, Open Access, copyright, and publication policies.
