Résumé
Cet article analyse le rôle du multilatéralisme et des principaux acteurs internationaux dans la promotion de la gouvernance, en mettant l’accent sur le cas du Maroc. Depuis la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, le multilatéralisme constitue un cadre privilégié de coopération entre les États et les organisations internationales pour relever les défis économiques, sociaux et environnementaux à l’échelle mondiale. Dans cette perspective, le Maroc a renforcé son engagement en faveur de la coopération internationale à trav ers son adhésion à plusieurs conventions internationales et régionales relatives à la gouvernance, à la transparence, au développement durable et aux droits fondamentaux. L’étude examine, dans un premier temps, les principaux engagements internationaux du Royaume dans ce domaine, puis analyse la contribution des institutions financières internationales, des organismes de développement et des organisations non gouvernementales internationales à l’amélioration des politiques publiques et des mécanismes de gouvernance. L’article met en évidence l’importance de ces acteurs dans l’accompagnement des réformes institutionnelles et dans la consolidation d’une gouvernance inclusive, responsable et conforme aux engagements internationaux du Maroc.

Abstract
This article analyzes the role of multilateralism and major international actors in promoting governance, with particular emphasis on the Moroccan experience. Since the end of the Second World War, multilateralism has provided a privileged framework for cooperation among states and international organizations in addressing global economic, social, and environmental challenges. In this context, Morocco has strengthened its commitment to international cooperation through its accession to various international and regional conventions relating to governance, transparency, sustainable development, and fundamental rights. The study first examines the Kingdom’s main international commitments in the field of governance and then analyzes the contribution of international financial institutions, development organizations, and international non-governmental organizations to the improvement of public policies and governance mechanisms. The article highlights the significant role of these actors in supporting institution al reforms and fostering inclusive, accountable, and internationally compliant governance in Morocco.
