Abstract

It is worth noting the expansion of digital evidence and its implementation in practice, and this expansion has become necessary to protect this type of evidence, and this protection is manifested in procedural criminal protection, and we have limited ourselves to this protection without other forms of protection, so the real problem was It is evident in the effectiveness of this type of protection in activating integrated protection for digital evidence, and this is what prompted us to clarify the procedural provisions according to which the digital evidence must be extracted, as well as explaining the aspects of investigating crimes related to harming this type of evidence, and in accordance with the principles of the comparative analytical approach, We reached a number of results and recommendations, the most important of which is that the UAE federal regulation lacks a text regulating control procedures and regulating the work of expertise in the technical environment. This is what prompted us to propose addressing these results and recommending that the legislator implement appropriate legislative intervention.
